A 4-star country pub near Grantham has launched its first wedding competition.
Set in the heart of the Vale of Belvoir, the Manners Arms country house hotel launched its first ‘Win a Wedding’ competition recently and is hoping more couples will enter before the deadline at the end of this week.
One couple will win their wedding day – worth £6,000 - at the former hunting lodge in the village of Knipton, two miles from Belvoir Castle.
General Manager of the Manners Arms, Stewart Watson, said: “All the staff are really pleased we’re running the competition. We wanted to give one couple the dream wedding they might otherwise not have been able to afford”.
The prize will include drinks for the guests on arrival, a three-course meal courtesy of Head Chef Tom Eden-Smith, an evening buffet and disco.
The Manners Arms is licenced to conduct civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships in its conservatory, which then turns into a disco for the evening. Guests will also be able to enjoy the hotel’s private gardens and stay in the hotel’s 10 luxury bedrooms.
Competition entries are being accepted between now and 5pm on Friday (November 15) and the winning couple will be announced at the Wedding Fayre at the Manners Arms on Saturday, November 16. Couples can enter the competition by filling in their details online at www.mannersarms.com
