The new-look Asda store in Grantham was officially relaunched this morning.

Mayor of Grantham Ian Selby, accompanied by Mayoress Anita Selby, cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the refurbished store.

To celebrate the relaunch, long-serving colleagues who have been working at Asda in Grantham since the store opened in 1998, were guests of honours after clocking up a total of 352 years’ service.

The new Asda includes a gluten-free bakery, the first of its kind for an Asda store,

The retailer has made major changes across its key departments including a new food hall, health and wellness area, a nail and beauty station, and a new style café with food lines starting from £1 including takeaway pizzas and hot dogs.
