Swimming pools grab green gong for Asher

A SWIMMING pool company have been praised for their environmentally-sound designs at a national awards ceremony.
Asher Swimpool Centre in Fulbeck was given the environmental award at the Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association (SPATA) awards, held at the De Vere Grand Hotel in Brighton.
The award was given to Asher Swimpool Centre in recognition of the company’s outstanding design and construction of the award winning pool.
Claire Asher of Asher Swimpool Centre said: “Winning the environmental award at this year’s SPATA ceremony is a fantastic achievement.
“We are delighted to have been recognised for our contribution to promoting responsible design and construction.”
The awards are organised by SPATA, who represent over 180 specialist pool companies across the UK, including some overseas members. The ceremony highlights the achievements of the pool industry by showcasing the best examples of construction, design and innovation.
Chris Hayes, managing director of SPATA says: “This year proved to be incredibly popular, creating tough decisions for the judges with a shortlist of 133 entries across 21 categories.”
