Have your say

A cartoonist is planning an exhibition for other artists of the genre.

Mark Bayliss hopes to use town centre premises to show off the talent of local artists with a passion for cartoons and caricatures. He hopes the exhibition will last three weeks and as well as viewing the art members of the public can buy them. Artists of any age and experience are welcome to join in.
Mark said: “In my view, cartoons and caricatures are overlooked and down-played quite a bit, and though I am bound to say that, I really do think that it is, so to highlight such an event and get people interested can only be a good thing.”
He hopes the event will bring a positive vibe to the town, adding: “People say Grantham is apathetic and dying, and it will die if we don’t get up and do something about it.”
Anyone interested in being part of the project can e-mail Mark at mark793@btinternet.com
