‘Team Onswitch’ not only took on the tough challenge that is climbing the Three Peaks, but made it more difficult be cycling between them!
Donald Lambert and Adam Parke from the Grantham-based company were joined by good friends Mike Brampton, Wallace Campbell and Roger Hobill. The group started with Snowdon, climbing a total of 3,406 metres and cycling 444 miles, finishing up six days later at Ben Nevis. Donald said: “Onswitch’s chosen charity for 2013 is The Cinnamon Trust, the only specialist national charity working to relieve the anxieties, problems, and sometimes injustices, faced by elderly and terminally ill people and their pets. Clearly it’s a very worthy cause, so not only did we want to raise a few thousand pounds, but we also wanted to raise awareness of this brilliant charity and its wonderful volunteers.” The pals have collected around £1,000 so far, but donations are still welcome via www.everyclick.com/teamonswitch Pictured, from left are - Roger Hobill, Donald Lambert, Wallace Campbell and Adam Parke.
