TODAY’S league title was the culmination of a three-plan which has seen Grantham Town transformed from league also-rans to table-toppers.

But chairman Steve Boam told the Journal after the game that he is already thinking of the next three years - which could include further promotions.

Mr Boam said: “Behind the scenes the club is steadily making progress and obviously on the field if we can retain the services of the managers and the players we have got here now for next season, with maybe a couple of additions, there’s no reason why this football club, in the next three years, can’t make a challenge at the next level to go into the Blue Square North and push to Conference football.”
