A QUILT which took two years to make will be raffled off in aid of the South Lincolnshire Blind Society.
The pretty quilt was donated to the charity by the Burghley Crafty Patchers, a group which makes quilts to support local charities.
This particular design, entitled ‘Swirling Daisies’ is made up of 35 appliquéd blocks, each with a blue centre circle and eight pink petals swirling around it.
Each block was sewn by hand, a real team effort by the group.
When it came to choosing the recipient of the quilt, the Patchy Crafters voted for the South Lincolnshire Blind Society, based in Grantham.
The raffle will be drawn on November 30. Tickets cost 20p each. To buy, call Susan Swinburn on 01476 592775.
