A sold out charity event being held at Belton Woods this weekend is set to feature stars of both past and present.
The identities of the celebrities are a closely guarded secret but event organiser Dean Fardell is certain his 12th annual ball for the Naomi Fardell Fund will prove as popular and successful as ever.
Dean said: “The place is sold out and we’ve got an awful lot going on.
“We’re keeping the names of the celebrities secret but it should be another great night.”
The event will bring to a close a great year of fund-raising for the fund, set up in memory of Dean’s daughter with the aim of supporting the health facilities which treated her - Great Ormond Street, Heartlink at Glenfield and the Kingfisher Ward at Grantham Hospital.
Dean said: “Mark Angeloni’s bike ride earlier this year raised more than £19,000 so it has been a fantastic year for us.
“Next year we will have the ball and an event at the college and then next year we will have the bike ride again.
“That way we can keep it fresh.”
