THE Citizens Advice Bureau in Grantham has moved to offices at the Guildhall.
The bureau shut up shop at its premises in Castlegate last week and plans to open its service in the Guildhall on Monday, in offices no longer used by South Kesteven District Council employees.
Staff believe the new venue provides a more pleasant environment for clients, with four interview rooms on the ground floor overlooking the green, in addition to further rooms on the first floor.
Clients with mobility problems are able to use a lift.
The bureau offers a ‘drop-in’ service on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, between 9.30am and 1.30pm. These are 10-minute slots to assess clients’ needs.
Wednesdays and Fridays are utilised for pre-booked appointments with specialist advisers in debt and welfare benefits.
