Ladies of the Showmen’s Guild were invited to tea in the Mayor of Grantham’s parlour this week while the Mid-Lent Fair was in town.

The ladies were joined by other dignitaries including the Mayoress, Mrs Sarah Stokes, who hosted the annual get-together, and Chairman of South Kesteven District Council, Coun Rosemary Kaberry-Brown.

The Showmen’s Guild protects the interests of travelling showmen at funfairs all over the country.
