A MAN who settled a disagreement with a headbutt told magistrates he was now good friends with his victim.

Robert Lee, of Stour Court in Grantham, admitted using threatening words or behaviour.

Daniel Paulson, prosecuting, said the headbutt outside Pulse nightclub had caused a cut to the victim’s lip. Witnesses said the attack was without provocation but Lee said he believed the victim had hit him with a bottle in the club.

Lee, defending himself, said: “I’m sorry for what happened. I’m friends with him now.”

He was fined £75 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £15.
