CHARGES against two males accused of damaging up to 30 gravestones at Grantham Cemetery have been dropped this week due to insufficient evidence.
A total of four males were charged following the cemetery attack in March of this year, with two youths admitting their role at youth court in June.
The final two, 22-year-old Daniel Fitas of Victoria Street, Grantham, and a 17-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons, were told on Wednesday (Nov 30) that all charges against them had been dropped.
The pair have always denied any part in the offence.
