Grantham area defendants brought before magistrates sitting in Lincoln recently include:

Matthew Robert Parsons, 49, of Kinoulton Court, Grantham: admits stealing a bottle of sherry worth £7 from Morrisons in Grantham on New Year’s Day and committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge for an offence of theft. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Elliot Lloyd Watson, 39, of Redcross Street, Grantham: admits using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Grantham on December 23 and committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge for an offence of assaulting a police constable. Watson was fined £80 and told to pay a £30 victim surcharge.

Adrian Marshall Wheatley, 19, of no fixed address: admits damaging a fence worth £12 in Grantham on December 27. He was ordered to pay compensation of £12 and £50 towards costs.

Andras Poti, 47, of East Street, Grantham: admits failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis after having driven a vehicle in Swingbridge Road, Grantham, on October 1. Poti was fined £450, ordered to pay a £45 victim surcharge and £400 costs and his driving licence endorsed with 10 points.

Daniel Zbigniew Fitas, 27, of Kinoulton Court, Grantham: guilty of driving a BMW in Huntingtower Road, Grantham, on April 9, without insurance. He was fined £120, told to pay a £30 victim surcharge and disqualified from driving for six months.

Stevie Leigh Szulczewski, 23, of Brittain Drive, Grantham: admits having in his possession 12.24g of class A drug cocaine and 0.99g of class B drug cannabis in Warmington Avenue, Grantham, on May 27. He was fined £185 and told to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. For a charge of failing to comply with a community order with unpaid work, Szulczewski was fined £95 and told the order would continue.

Benjamin James Freeston, 37, of Station Road, Grantham: admits entering B&Q as a trespasser on June 18 and stealing power tools worth £858. Also admits failing to surrender to custody at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court, having been released on bail. Community order made including electronic monitoring and a rehabilitation activity requirement, and ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85
costs.

Kriston Priest, 19, of Beechcroft Road, Grantham: admits driving a Peugeot vehicle in Dysart Road on June 25 without insurance and otherwise than in accordance with a licence. Fined £120, told to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs and driving licence endorsed with six points.

Peri Johnson, 32, of Hollis Road, Grantham: admits having in his possession false vehicle number plates in connection with fraud, displaying fraudulent plates and not paying a parking ticket in Grantham between July 7 and December 10, obstructing a police contable in the execution of his duty in High Street on December 10, and driving a Skoda Fabia in High Street otherwise than in accordance with a licence and without insurance. Johnson was committed to prison for 20, 20 and four weeks concurrent but suspended for 12 months, ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge and costs of £85 and disqualified from driving for six months.

Daniel Kecka, 19, of Melbourne Road, Grantham: admits driving a Honda vehicle in London Road without due care and attention and otherwise than in accordance with a licence on May 8. He was fined £256, ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £125 costs and his driving licence endorsed with seven points.

Lukas Urbonas, 19, of Hamilton Road, Grantham: admits riding a Yamaha motorcycle without due care and attention and otherwise than in accordance with a licence in London Road on May 8. Urbonas was fined £162, ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £125 costs and his driving licence endorsed with seven points.

Dakarai Majekwana, 27, of Stamford Street, Grantham: admits assaulting a male at Santander Bank, Grantham, on January 13 and failing to surrender to custody at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court having been released on bail. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Stuart J. Hamilton, 33, of Trent Road, Grantham: admits being in contempt of court by videoing and sound recording the bench and parties to proceedings in court in Lincoln on February 2. He was fined £80.

Tracey Brooks, 38, of Hadleigh Close, Grantham: admits driving a Vauxhall Astra in Harlaxton Road on June 30 without due care and attention. She was fined £113, told to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs and her driving licence endorsed with three points.

Liam Douglas Grant, 28, of Trent Road, Grantham: admits driving a Ford vehicle in Trent Road while not wearing a seatbelt on February 2. Grant was fined £40 and told to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £30 towards costs.

Finnbar McCarthy, 45, of Circus Mondao, Honington Junction, Lincoln Road, Honington: guilty of driving an Audi vehicle on the A52 at Sedgebrook without paying due care and attention on July 19. Fined £40, ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and costs of £85 and his driving licence endorsed with four points.
