Customer’s bike worth £400 stolen from Grantham cycle shop

Police are looking for a man in connection with the theft of a customer’s bicycle from a shop in Grantham.

The electric blue Carrera Centos was taken from Cycle Sport UK in London Road, Grantham, on Friday, June 24.

The bike, which is valued at £400, did not belong to the shop but to a customer who had taken it in for repair.

PC Pete Munton, of Lincolnshire Police, said: “The person who is believed to have taken the bike was only seen from the back and at distance. They were described as being 6ft tall, of a slim build and wearing a grey hoodie with the hood up. The person was heading in the direction of the River Witham at 2.45pm.

“We want to find this bike and return it to its rightful owner, so if you have any information please call us on 101.”
