A DRIVER with “little regard for the law” admitted five charges after taking an Alfa Romeo without consent.
Ifthikar Najid, 30, of Parliament Street, Peterborough, was stopped on the A1 at Gonerby Moor after being caught driving at 91mph.
Najid was already disqualified from driving at the time and gave the police three different names before finger print tests revealed his true identity.
Najid admitted speeding, driving a car without the owner’s consent, obstructing a constable, driving without insurance and driving whilst disqualified.
The case was adjourned for pre-sentence reports. Najid will next appear in court for sentencing on July 11.
Chair of magistrates, Mrs Marshall-Brown, said: “It looks as though you have little regard for the law.”
Najid has bail conditions preventing him from being in the front seat of a car.
Mrs Marshall-Brown said: “Don’t breach your bail, or else there will be a prison door clanging behind you.”
