Forensics delay case

A DELAY in forensic evidence led to the adjournment of a committal at Grantham Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

John Harty, 27, of Hollydene Crescent, Nottingham, is due to be tried at Lincoln Crown Court for three alleged offences.

He is accused of stealing a forklift valued at £21,734.71 from Sewstern Timber Yard, he is also accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm on two police officers on May 1, 2010.

Harty was released on unconditional bail until August 24.
