THREE men and a woman have been charged with robbery and with the kidnap of an employee of a Grantham cash and carry in November last year.
As reported in the Journal, an employee of Booker Wholesale was taken from his home in Keyworth, near Nottingham, one evening and driven back to the cash and carry in Gonerby Road, Grantham.
A raid was carried out at the store.
Four people aged between 19 and 30, three from Northamptonshire and the fourth from Cambridgeshire, were charged with kidnap and robbery.
Two of the suspects were also charged with the theft of a Nissan Navara from Warwickshire, while the remaining two are accused of handling the vehicle.
They appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, where they were remanded in custody until April 26 when they will appear at Nottingham Crown Court.
