Charges against an 18-year-old man will likely be dropped due to lack of evidence.

Keia Hull, of William Street, Grantham, is charged with taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent but Jim Clare, prosecuting, said he will be formally asking the police to discontinue
the case due to lack of evidence.

Rob Arthur, defending, told magistrates there is a “substantial lack of any evidence”.

The case was adjourned until November 11. Hull was released on unconditional bail.
