Man accused of stealing electric toothbrushes

FORMER Grantham man Andrew Batsford appeard in court accused of shoplifting and of using threatening behaviour.

Batsford, formerly of Brook Street, Grantham, and now living in Melton Mowbray, is charged with stealing two Oral B electric toothbrushes worth £122 from Boots in Grantham on July 17. He is also accused of using threatening behaviour on the same day.

Batsford, 28, will reappear at Grantham Magistrates’ Court on September 2. He was granted bail on the conditions that he does not enter Boots or the Isaac Newton Centre, both in Grantham.
