REFUSING to leave the doorway of a Grantham strip club cost a man £200 at magistrates’ court on Wednesday.
Christopher Carr, of Ascot Drive, Grantham, admitted failing to leave after being directed to by police on two occasions in the early hours of September 24.
Carr, who was thrown out of Taboo, in Westgate, kept asking door staff why he was not allowed back in.
He said: “I regret my actions. It was completely out of character. I was too drunk and shouldn’t have been acting in the way I did.”
Fining Carr £100 plus £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge magistrate Peter Butterfield said: “This is a nuisance offence. When a police officer tells you to do something you should just do it.”
