Neighbourhood Watch in Bottesford is warning villagers to be wary following two suspicious incidents reported yesterday (Wednesday).
The first involved a red transit van driving very slowly through the village, while the second report was of three men asking residents questions about occupants of a group of houses in the village.
Bottesford Parish NHW principal co-ordinator John Shilton said: “When reporting suspicious incidents, timing is critical. Criminals involved in such activity do not hang around waiting to be challenged.
“If you see something suspicious please report it to the police at the earliest opportunity by calling 101. This helps officers in the area deal with incidents as and when they are happening.”
Anyone with information relating to the above incidents is asked to call police on the non-emergency 101 number.
