Pensioner faces jail for sex attacks on children

A PENSIONER who admitted sex attacks on six young girls has been told he faces jail.

William David Law, of Turnor Crescent, Grantham, pleaded guilty to a total of 15 charges of indecent assault and six charges of indecency with a child when he appeared at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday.

The offences were committed over an 18-year period between 1975 and 1993 on girls aged between six and 16.

Recorder John Pini QC adjourned sentencing to a date in August.

He remanded Law, 78, into custody and said: “There has to be a custodial sentence in this case.”
