A high-speed police pursuit was brought to an end near Ancaster last night when officers punctured the tyres of the car they were chasing.
A driver was arrested after the 15-mile pursuit which took police from Sleaford through Caythorpe and on to Ancaster.
Officers of the Lincolnshire Roads Policing Unit had to burst the car’s tyres in order to bring the chase to a halt.
The male motorist was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and for not having a license or insurance. His vehicle was also seized.
