OFF-ROAD bikers face having their vehicle crushed if they break the law, warns police.
The call comes after two youths were caught on CCTV last week riding around the Earlesfield estate in recklessly.
The pair were arrested and the bike seized by police. Unless claimed by the owner and a fee paid, it will be crushed.
Earlesfield beat manager PC Steve Cummings said: “We have attempted to educate riders but the message clearly isn’t getting across.
“Because of this we are taking a far more pro-active approach and offenders are likely to have their bikes seized and they will be reported.”
The driver of the off-road bike was reported for having no licence, insurance and helmet and for driving without due care and attention.
