Police raided a building in East Street, Grantham, on New Year’s Eve and found 67 plants, which they suspect to be cannabis.
Officers, with a search warrant, went to the former ATS premises near the top of East Street at 10am and remained searching the building into the late afternoon. They also took away a car which was believed to be stolen. A woman who lives nearby said: “They have been there most of the morning. I went out to the shop and when I came back they were taking away a car. Others were inside where there were some kind of big silver vents.” No arrests had been made as of 5pm on Thursday.
