Police want to talk to man in connection with up to £35,000 worth of criminal damage to vehicles in Grantham

Lincolnshire Police have released images of a man they would like to talk to in connection with a spate of criminal damage in Grantham.

About 55 incidents of criminal damage to vehicles on Huntingtower Road started in October 2014 when 20 vehicles were maliciously damaged by scratches down their side panels.

There were no further incidents until late December 2014 when on Christmas Eve a further 13 vehicles were targeted in a similar manner, some of them the same vehicles damaged in October.

The last known incidents occurred between December 30, 2014, and January 3, 2015, when a further 22 vehicles were targeted.

It is estimated that around £20,000 to £35,000 worth of damage could have been caused to the vehicles involved. In each case it is believed than a man walking up and down the side of the vehicles between 1am and 2am scratched the paintwork with an unknown implement.
