Police are hunting a suspected bogus council worker who tricked an elderly woman into handing over cash at her home in West Pinchbeck.

An armed robbery took place at a Co-op store in Grantham on Tuesday night.

Staff at the Princess Drive store were threatened by a man with a knife who made it away with a small quantity of goods.
Nobody was injured in the incident, which happened at around 9.10pm.
Police have arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with the armed robbery. He is currently helping police with their enquiries.
