THE Serious Organised Crime Agency has confirmed its involvement in a drugs raid in Grantham this morning (Wednesday), which saw six people being arrested.
As reported online this morning, and via @GranthamJournal on Twitter, Cornwall Close was cordoned off by police early this morning while a warrant was executed in connection with drugs.
A SOCA spokesman issued this statement this afternoon: “The Serious Organised Crime Agency has carried out a number of searches in the Grantham area of Lincolnshire in connection with a drugs investigation.
“Six people have been arrested and are currently being questioned by SOCA officers. The operation was assisted by Lincolnshire Police.
“The investigation is ongoing, we are unable to comment further at this time.”
