The opening of Superbikes star Chris ‘Stalker’ Walker’s Kawasaki dealership brought a packed crowd and a few other famous faces from the racing world to Harlaxton Road at the weekend.
Known as a destination dealership, the new store specialising in Kawasaki bikes also has a British Superbike (BSB) level workshop and DynoJet Race Bay to service all makes of bike, a Dyno speed vault to test performance, a 30-seater Racing Café, and much more to keep visitors entertained in-store for hours.
Four-time British Superbike Championship runner-up Chris Walker has opened the business alongside his wife Rachel and business partner Craig Currie, with support from his Kawasaki team and fellow BSB legends Colin Wright and Chris Hunt who are also working at the dealership.
Crowds came on the opening weekend to browse the products on offer, including on and off-road Kawasakis, all makes of used bikes including Suzuki, Hondas, Ducatis and Yamahas, and everything a motorcyclist needs in the parts and accessories store.
Chris said: “We were overwhelmed by the response and support we received over the opening weekend and the following week. Thank you to everyone who came and we hope to see you back again soon!”
The opening event also saw the brand new Kawasaki H2R in action in the Dyno speed vault, with visitors able to watch through the giant viewing window its 326 brake horsepower in action.
Meanwhile motocross ace Lee Dunham was there holding try-outs, along with a stellar list of racing faces including Jack Burnicle, Gary Johnson, Kiyonari, Peter Hickman, James Hillier, Luke Stapleford, Lee Jackson and Richard Cooper, to name just a few.
The Chris Walker Kaw asaki dealership on Harlaxton Road is open 9am-5pm Monday-Saturday, 10am-4pm Sunday.
