The Grantham Lions Club raised £150 during a diabetes awareness day held in Asda car park.
A vehicle provided by diabetes awareness campaigners Silver Star was parked up in the car park while diabetic nurses performed tests on customers.
It was joined by Lions members who asked for donations to Diabetes UK, and as well as raising funds valuable advice was given to those tested.
Grantham Lions Club member, Karen Guest, said: “Many tests were done, some resulting in advice given to see a doctor.
“Many thanks to the general public for the generous donations and to Asda for the use of the car park.”
