POLICE officers searching for missing Grantham man Stuart Taylor say they are missing “that one piece of vital information”.
Mr Taylor, who lives in Harrowby Lane, Grantham, went missing on December 13 after he was last seen in Fernie Road Market Harborough at around 1.30pm.
Leicestershire Police stepped up their search for Mr Taylor over the Christmas period, using a police helicopter and searching water at Foxton Locks in South Leicestershire.
Mr Taylor’s partner Lorraine Templeton said: “I was thinking we would find him, but we never did. I can’t tell you how hard it has been not knowing whether he is alive.”
Mr Taylor is described as white, around 5’10” tall and of slim build with short wavy brown hair. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved blue T-shirt, a brown leather bomber-style jacket, green cord trousers and brown shoes.
PC Andy Raybould, the investigating officer, said: “We are following various lines of enquiry, we have issued posters and spoken to local residents, but we are still missing that one piece of vital information.”
