Does your pet have the Pets Factor?
Does your pet have the Pets Factor?

Is your pooch is beauty? Why not enter him or her into our Pets Factor competition:

Is your pet the purrfect cat or the cutest pooch? Does your hamster have that winning look? Or is your pony one to be really proud of?

We want to feature ALL your creatures, great and small.

Simply snap a picture of your pet and send it in to us with your contact details to have a chance of winning. If our readers vote your pet as the winner, you could win a top quality dog or cat bed from Pets at Home, packed full of Mars Petcare food, treats and goodies.

In addition, the winner will receive a stunning 16in by 12in colour print of their pet from Starlight Studios. If the winner is not a dog or cat, we’ll provide a suitable alternative prize.

So, what are you waiting for? Get snapping and get those entries in.

You can send in entries for as many pets as you like, but please submit only one entry, with one image, for each pet.

The photo should be a good quality close-up of your pet on its own.

There are two simple ways to enter:

E-mail your pet picture with your pet’s name, your name, address, daytime contact telephone number and mobile number to {mailto: petsfactor@granthamjournal.co.uk,petsfactor@granthamjournal.co.uk}

Please ensure you state Pets Factor Competition in your e-mail subject title.

Text your entry by MMS to 88833. Attach your picture, starting your message with the word “GJPET” then a space and then your pet’s name, followed by your name, full address and postcode plus a daytime telephone number. Messages cost £1.50 in addition to your standard network charge and should contain no more than 160 characters.

The closing date for entries is midnight Friday, 9 September. After the closing date, the judges will select their favourite entries and these will appear in a series of fun and colourful features in the Journal that are not to be missed.

Our readers will then be asked to vote for their favourites with the most popular pet to be crowned as our Pets Factor winner.

If you are a pet lover, you won’t want to miss LovePets Show 2011, the family event of the year. There will be hundreds of creatures to see, entertainment, dog agility, advice and trade stands on Saturday and Sunday, 29 and 30 October, at the EXEC indoor arena at the East of England Showground in Peterborough.
