Firefighters have continued to tackle a major fire at the Norbert Dentressangle cold storage plant in Burton Lane, Easton, overnight.
About 70 firefighters have been at the site putting out the large blaze which began just after 3pm yesterday.
Residents living nearby were warned by police to shut windows and doors because of the possibility of toxic fumes and asbestos dust.
Fire investigators are expected at the site soon to look into the cause of the fire.
Workers at the Norbert plant told the Journal they saw the fire start in a cold store close to a battery room which services fork lift trucks.
