Eaton and Eastwell Horticultural Society holds annual show

EATON and Eastwell Horticultural Society held its 87th annual show on Saturday.

Despite the recent adverse weather and a reduced turn-out of entries, the show was considered a success.

There were 20 adult exhibitors with 204 entries and 14 entries by three child exhibitors.

Judges were Mark Skinner and Fiona Hobil.

Hart; Best exhibit craft - Mrs S. Coleman; Best exhibit culinary - Mrs W. Whiting; Best exhibit children under five - Freya Palmer; Best exhibit children five-10 - Eve Spence Arnold; Highest points flowers - Mr D. Shields; Second highest points - Mrs V. Oswin; Highest points vegetables - Mrs S. Coleman; Second highest points - Mr D. Shields; Highest points culinary - Mrs S. Murdock; Second highest points - Mrs V. Oswin; Highest points children under five - Freya Palmer; Highest points children five-10 - Eve Spence Arnold.
