Christmas came early to Ancaster Village Nursery as staff and tots celebrated the third annual Christmas fête.
Organised by the Friends of Ancaster Village Nursery, the fête boasted a fantastic turn-out.
The nursery hosted its own stall, selling new books, homemade gingerbread men, cakes and biscuits.
Children were lucky enough to have some very special visitors in the shape of Father Christmas and one of his elves as they took a break from toy-making to visit the nursery.
Nursery Manager Imogen Phillis said: “We had a big group pulling together to make the day a success. There was a really lovely family atmosphere. Parents were saying it was the best one yet.”
A total of £630 was raised through the fête and fund-raising efforts throughout the year, which will go to children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
