Pupils and staff of Barkston and Syston Primary School attended the Food for Life prize ceremony at Doddington Hall to receive a Silver award.

The Food for Life Partnership is a network of schools and communities committed to transforming food culture, which awards those who excel in food quality and education.

This added to the school’s other recent successes including achieving a ‘Good with outstanding features’ Ofsted inspection, earning International Schools Award status, and raising over £1,600 for the NSPCC through sponsored sporting challenges.
