Year 11 students at Priory Ruskin Academy in Grantham decided to stay on home turf for their prom this year.

The students decided to hold their end of Year school Prom in the brand new Priory Ruskin Academy build where they celebrated their new surroundings and a successful Ofsted report. While it was a chance for them to say farewell to some of their peers, more than 100 students are staying on to study A-levels at The Priory Ruskin Sixth Form.

Students were keen to celebrate this memorable event in great style which included their elegant and stylish outfits and also some interesting choices of transport to the event.

As part of the evening, they enjoyed a three course meal served and cooked by Paul`s Restaurant, based in Bottesford, and danced the night away in the new school hall.

There was also an awards ceremony for the best dressed students. Best dressed female award went to Aneta Horelicanova and Best dressed male was David Olalere. The Cute couple award went to Lucy Bishop and Jordan Lea-Hair with the prestigious awards of the night Prom King and Prom Queen awarded to Vitor Lima and Ellie White.
