Children at Marston Thorold Primary School were recently commended for completing a ‘DARE’ course.
The programme warns them about the dangers of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs as well as talking about bullying and anti-social behaviour.
The children completed a 10-week course and were each presented with a certificate at a ceremony on Wednesday.
The course was taught by retired policeman Colin Everett who has been delivering the course at schools for 13 years.
The aim of the course is to help children make healthy and informed lifestyle choices.
