‘First cohort shaped our ethos’ says head of Sir William Robertson High School

Sir William Robertson Academy’s first ever intake of sixth form recieved their AS results yesterday (Thursday).

Two students praised by the school, in Welbourn, were Ellie Williams and Amy Bonfield.

Ellie, of Brandon, gained Bs in Art and Performance Studies and Cs in English Literature, English Language and General Studies.

Meanwhile, Amy, of Cranwell, gained a B in English Language and a C in Geography.

Headteacher Mark Guest said: “It is fantastic to see our students celebrating their exam success today.

“Our first cohort of A-level students have helped shaped the ethos and expectation for our new sixth form.”

Thirty-seven students joined the sixth form at Sir Wililam Robertson last September, with a further 100 starting this year.
