Another strong performance from Kesteven and Grantham Girls’ School with 58 per cent of all examinations entered being awarded the top two A*/A grades.
There were 180 students in Year 11 and 35 per cent (63 students) achieved 10 or more A*/A grades.
This year’s top performers were Esme Fowkes, Niamh O’Neill, Eleanor Pickering and Emma Turley, who each achieved 12 A* grades at GCSE.
Headteacher Graham Burks said: “I’m delighted for all of my students who had achieved their best. The performance of those at the top end is truly amazing.
“The girls are not only very bright but maintain a staggering work ethic and we are very proud of them. Staff and students have worked hard, parents have been supportive and this is a wonderful but well deserved outcome.
“Many of our students perform equally impressively in music, sport, dance and drama both in and beyond school. They are truly remarkable.”
