AN award presented to Grantham’s Priory Ruskin Academy recognises staff and pupils’ dedication to leading healthy lifestyles.

The school, which has a sports specialism, has received the national ‘healthy schools’ status. It follows steps taken by the school to promote health and well-being, healthy eating, physical activity and emotional harmony.

Teacher Emma Esam said: “The academy is extremely pleased to have gained national ‘healthy schools’ status and has a plaque and certificate recognising this achievement proudly on display.”
