Cadets and staff from 47F Grantham Squadron Air Training Corps enjoyed a visit to the RAF Museum in Hendon, London, last weekend.

During their visit, the cadets were given a quiz to complete as their toured around the museum. The winner of the competition was Cadet Ben Sellars who won a model spitfire. For many of the cadets this was the first time they had visited the museum, and for some, their first visit to London.

The museum has expanded since the last time the squadron visited four years ago and the interactive section was very popular with the cadets. The visit was also an opportunity for some of the recently graduated cadets to integrate with the squadron.

The cadets have a busy program of events ahead of them this year, and their project will be spending a week in Anglesey, North Wales, in early April to test their skills of stamina and confidence.
