IT’S not every day you get to perform at London’s O2 arena, and so it was a magical experience for young choristers from a Grantham primary school.
Belmont School Choir enjoyed a fantastic day in the Big Smoke, which included a show-stopping performance at the former Millenium Stadium.
They set off from the school at 8.30am last Tuesday, arriving in London just after noon. After lunch, they took a trip to see the River Thames, and then the group of excited youngsters headed to the O2.
They sang several songs alongside 7,500 other schoolchildren from schools across the UK.
Afterwards, tired but happy, the youngsters hopped back on the coach and returned to Grantham at 1.40am.
