IN a bid to make the car park at their school safer, pupils of Isaac Newton Primary School have designed signs.

The Class 4 youngsters were invited to get their creative juices flowing and design signs to be placed around the car park.

Four were chosen as the best, and their young designers took them along to Viking Signs, in Dysart Road.

Headteacher Stephen Tapley said: “They were made into proper signs, free of charge, that we have actually put up in our car park.”

The winners (pictured above with their creative designs) are Maddison Willesden, Owen Wilkinson,Jo Page, Jolibeth Carney and Kirby Redley.
