CHILDREN at a village primary school raised hundreds of pounds for a cancer charity.
Pupils at Barkston and Syston CE Primary School held a coffee morning to raise cash for Macmillan Cancer Support and raised an incredible £420.67.
The children have enjoyed a busy time of it lately and have also been taking their harvest produce to the homes of pensioners in the Barkston area.
The school’s coffee morning for charity was held after this year’s harvest service. Pictured are William Ingamells, Eleanor Oakes, Alexandra Philbey and Cobi Williams.
