MOVE over Jai McDowall - it’s the kids at Isaac Newton Primary School who really have the talent!

The Grantham school held its annual talent show last Tuesday, featuring a wide variety of acts.

Youngsters choreographed their own acts, taking to the stage hooping, gymnastics, hip-hop dancing, Irish dancing, singing, comedy and music.

Toni Toole, one of the show’s organisers, said: “Forget about Ronan and Jai, our children were great.

“The Queen would have loved it.

“If there was a league table for talent we’d be top of the pile.”

One act which particularly impressed the audience was a rendition of Rolf Harris’s ‘Two Little Boys’, sung by pupils Charlie Sharman and Casey Hare.

Around 150 friends and relatives of youngsters at the school were sat in the audience to cheer on the acts and enjoy the show, hosted by a ‘funster’ who had everyone in hysterics with a stream of jokes.
