Major engineering works on the East Coast mainline between Peterborough and Newark Northgate will mean disruption for Grantham passengers every weekend until October 27.

Services run by East Coast, East Midlands Trains and First Hull Trains will all be affected.
Over the next six weekends, East Coast First Hull Trains train timetables will be amended for services to and from King’s Cross. Between 1.15pm on Saturday and 12.05pm on Sunday, trains will be diverted via Lincoln and will not call at Grantham, extending journey times by up to 90 minutes.
Replacement buses will run between Peterborough, Grantham and Newark Northgate.
