MRS Gwladys May Martin, of High Street, Harlaxton, has died at Grantham Hospital. She was 92.
MRS Gwladys May Martin, of High Street, Harlaxton, has died at Grantham Hospital. She was 92.Born in Harlaxton, she was the only sister to five brothers. She married Aubrey Martin in 1944 and lived all her
life in Harlaxton.
She originally worked as an insurance agent for Prudential until her marriage, when she became a partner in the milk delivery business with her husband.
She delivered milk around Harlaxton and surrounding villages until her retirement in 1984.
Her interests included gardening and sport.
The funeral service was held at St Mary and St Peter's Church, Harlaxton, conducted by Sheila Finch. Cremation followed at Grantham.
