Band raises £2,000 for charity

Saturday, 6pm - YOUTH band Music Machine entertained hundreds on Monday night at a concert which raised nearly 2,000 for charity.The band, run by Paul and Katie Wilson, played a selection of music from stage and screen.

There were a number of special performances, including singer Jack Drury with backing singers Take This, clarinettist Oliver Pashley and Abba tribute group Blabba.

The concert at St Wulfram's Church was in aid of armed forces charity Help for Heroes and Lincoln Minster School's HOST project, which aims to support a community in Romania.

Music Machine plans to hold its next concert at the Mere's Leisure Centre in December.
