Monday, 2.10pm - YET another Grantham bridge has been struck!A vehicle hit the bridge in Springfield Road this morning, the second to be hit in four days.

No details are known about the lorry or where it was from. Network Rail arranged for it to be moved and the road was clear by 11.05am.

A lorry struck the bridge in Barrowby Road on Friday afternoon, crushing the front of its container.

Network Rail put up giant signs reading "LOW BRIDGE" earlier this month to combat the problem.

But another stirke beggars the question - are they working?

If you spot a bridge strike, let us know by calling 01476 562291.

Do you think the "LOW BRIDGE" signs are soing a good enough job?
